Von der Pfarrkirche aus (1200m) führt die Straße für ca. 1 km immer geradeaus bis zur Ortschaft Merletti (1271m) – Wold: hier trifft man auf einen großen Parkplatz, wo man verpflichtet ist das Auto zu parken und man geht zu Fuß weiter (oder während der Sommerzeit mit dem Pendelbus).
Direkt nach der Kapelle St. Antonio, etwa 4 km von Alagna entfernt, beginnt der Pfad Nr.6: Der Saumpfad windet sich, wo der Weg zuerst am flachen Flußufer entlang führt. Kurz vor der Alpe Stiga beginnt eine lange Reihe Stufen, am Ende derer man die Berghütte Pastore erreicht, die von den weiten Wiesen der Alpe Pile (1575m) umgeben sind. Von hier aus kann man die schöne Aussicht der Südseite des Monte Rosa genießen. Streckenlänge ca. 1 Stunde. Als Alternative kann man die Alpe Pile auch auf einem anderen Weg erreichen. Man folgt der befahrbaren Straße nach der Kapelle St. Antonio bis zum Platz des Acqua Bianca (weißes Wasser) (1497m) wo der gleichnamige Wasserfall hervorbricht, der dann bis hin zum Platz ...
