Sorne e Corne' - Altopiano di Brentonico in Trentino
SORNE: Costruito sulla rupe lambita dal torrente Sorna il paese pare come un fortezza medioevale. In località Moiette, poco fuori l'abitato, sgorga una fonte di acqua salino-ferruginosa alla temperatura costante di 8 gradi. La fonte fu sfruttata per un lungo periodo alla fine del 1800. E' in questa frazione che è visitabile un mulino ad acqua ancora funzionante.
CORNE': L'abitato è composto da una dozzina di casali (contrade) disseminati sulla sponda destra della valle del Sorna. La leggenda vuole che proprio nella contrada di Lodron, un conte sarebbe stato ucciso dai terrazzani perchè restio alla soggezione feudale. La contrada Tognati va famosa per la caratteristica vite in legno, ora custodita in casa Francesconi, testimonianza di un antico torchio per l'olio di noce. La macina era composta da una trave in noce lunga ben dieci metri. Da visitare le chiese della Madonna del Carmine e quella sconsacrata di San Matteo, quest'ultima appena restaurata.
